Sunset Ridge Elementary Homes for Sale

The Sunset Ridge faculty and staff are dedicated to ensuring that all students can perform to the best of their ability. For the 2014-15 school year, we will be focusing on math instruction using materials that promote higher level thinking skills and problem solving. Students are expected to express the thought process by which they are able to solve complex, multi-step problems. 

Side by side with our academic emphasis is our intent to provide a school program that creates a balance between the academic and the social/emotional responsibilities that are part of being a member of a school community.  Toward that end, we follow the Soaring Hawks program that is the Sunset Ridge version of PBIS, also known as Positive Behavioral Interventions and Strategies.  We will also be adding Top 20, which incorporates a collection of strategies to help students overcome any barriers to engagement in their learning.
